Welcome!

The Grand Chefs are a select group of individuals within the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. promoting the SCA feast experience by setting higher standards and expectations.  We encourage the research and presentation of period recipes, ingredients, and techniques, and modern kitchen management and food safety skills.

This is not an award, there is no official status.  Grand Chefs are not bound by Kingdom boundaries.

There are currently two chapters of The Grand Chefs:

The Grand Chefs of Meridies

The Grand Chefs of Gleann Abhann

This site is hosted by The Grand Chefs of Gleann Abhann.  Content on this website is specifically used by The Grand Chefs of Gleann Abhann.

For information regarding The Grand Chefs of Meridies, you can:

view the Meridies Grand Chef Guidelines

or contact THLady Nadalia Naran, Secretary for the Meridies chapter.

As part of promoting our purpose, we are willing to help individuals from other Kingdoms set up their own Grand Chef program.
